Practice and science
Hans and Esther have combined their knowledge and practical experience under one roof with Kynoscience UG. Both are enthusiastic “dog lovers” who actively work with their dogs. Due to their different professional careers, they can bring in their different know-how and combine it into a successful concept.
Esther worked for many years as a scientist in the field of “dog behaviour” at the University of Veterinary Medicine Hanover. Hans was active as a dog handler and trainer in the police dog sector for a very long time. In Kynoscience they have therefore combined practice and science. This combination is unique worldwide.
Their aim is to keep their knowledge of dog behaviour always up to date with the latest scientific findings and to transfer it into practice-relevant training. They want to enable dog handlers to apply this knowledge in their daily work with their four-legged friends. Knowing training methods is good. But to really understand the workings behind them allows you to be flexible. To be able to adapt the training methods individually for each dog and thus enable dogs and owners to work in a relaxed manner that is in accordance with animal welfare, but still performance-oriented.
